Job description

HYBRID WORK MODEL: 3 DAYS PER WEEK (60%) IN OUR WROCLAW OFFICE AND 2 DAYS REMOTE

About us

Hi, we are Ten Square Games, and we live games! No, not a typo - but a level up from loving! We are on a mission of giving players excellent outdoor experiences on their mobiles. With global hits, such as Fishing Clash, we know how to make the best of technology, fun, and fair play. With 77 million registered players in 2024 and 300+ people on board, we keep growing and learning, having the insatiable hunger for the next success. If you also like to explore the unknown and know how to own it, we want to work with you!

What is this job all about?

We're looking for a Translation & Localization Specialist (f/m/d) to join our Localization & Player Research team, part of the Player Experience (PX) team at Ten Square Games. We localize a portfolio of mobile games into more than 20 languages, and your work will directly shape how natural our games feel to players around the world.

Your main focus will be day-to-day localization operations: creating, translating, and reviewing game content between English and Polish, coordinating localization tasks, and helping us keep quality high across all titles. Occasionally, you'll also support the team's player research activities.

We're open to both junior and mid-level candidates – the scope of your responsibilities and independence will depend on your experience. If you're just starting out: the right attitude and willingness to learn matter more to us than a long work record.

Job requirements

What will you be doing?

  • Create, translate, and edit content for mobile games (English <-> Polish);

  • Review and improve AI-assisted translations as part of our localization workflow;

  • Plan and coordinate localization tasks and projects;

  • Cooperate with the localization team, product teams, and external vendors;

  • Support the implementation of our LQA strategy, including linguistic testing and quality evaluation;

  • Support other teams in internationalization, localization, and translation-related topics; share knowledge and give advice;

  • Occasionally support player research activities (e.g. surveys, playtests);

  • Identify and solve localization-related issues in our games.

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent knowledge of English (C1/C2);

  • Excellent or native knowledge of Polish;

  • Strong writing and editing skills in both languages – shown through professional work, studies, or personal projects;

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize;

  • A quick learner and team player with good communication skills, focused on common goals;

  • Genuine interest in games and how they're made.

Amaze us with:

  • Experience in game localization, UX writing, or translation projects;

  • Experience in UX or player research;

  • Very good or native knowledge of other foreign languages;

  • Experience in testing or quality assurance;

  • A degree in linguistics or a related field;

  • Interest in the themes of our games: history (especially military), fishing, or hunting;

  • Working knowledge of CAT tools (e.g. Phrase), Google Workspace, and Jira/Confluence;

  • Being a gamer;

  • Basic programming or localization engineering skills.

Please submit your CV in English.
