What is this job all about?

We’re currently looking for a Junior Economy Designer. If you have a solid foundation in math, enjoy solving problems, understand game design principles, and are proficient with essential tools like Excel, don't hesitate to apply. Your professionalism is valued here!


What will you be doing?

  • Manage and design challenging and satisfying events and activities for players;

  • Develop and improve the current formula of in-game events based on collected data;

  • Define new goals to enhance live ops strategy and scheduled in-game events;

  • Create new, efficient methods of monetization and optimize revenue;

  • Define the monthly sales strategy and plan promotions to maximize virtual goods revenue;

  • Analyze game metrics to identify opportunities for optimizing performance, including conversion, retention, churn, and customer lifetime value (CLV);

  • Be passionate about your game’s design, seeking to understand its place in the market and how it appeals to players by being one of them;

  • Use references from our competitors and other games to improve live operations;

  • Seek knowledge from both inside and outside the company to further your understanding of design and event development.

Job requirements

What are we looking for?

Math & Economy Skills:

  • Knowledge of mathematics (especially combinatorics & probabilities);

  • Willingness to learn widely-used mathematical concepts (e.g., distributions, regressions).

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to track KPIs for live operations and other statistics;

  • Awareness of the goals to be achieved;

  • Ability to suggest possible solutions based on data.

Design Skills:

  • Understanding of free-to-play design principles (monetization, pacing, live game best practices, etc.);

  • Ability to work with other designers and analysts;

  • Ability to think about the user experience from a mathematical perspective.

Tools:

  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for processing calculations;

  • Ability to read graphs/dashboards to find necessary data for live operations analysis.

Mindset:

  • Ownership and proactiveness;

  • Ability to quickly adapt to business changes;

  • Thrive under time pressure;

  • Effective organization and prioritization of tasks.


Amaze us with:
